To Have a Voice

Dear Blog Readers,

First, I have a new message on my billboard on I-10. This billborad is a beautiful design in red in black with a message in Spanish in honor of the 5th of May, or "el cinco de mayo." The billboard says in Spanish, "We do not want two towns, Two People. Demand Equalty and Justice for all! Theresa Caballero (D) 2008!
Justice for all!

Secondly, I have received numerous phone calls this week from people who are angry and frustrated about the dual justice system we have here in West Texas. I have received calls from people who have had family gunned down by a poorly trained police force, from people who feel disenfranchised by law enforcement and the District Attorney. You are not alone. Speak out. You have a voice! Come together here.

I offer HOPE! Comment here. The District Attorney as well as the press reads my blog. Speak your mind. This is a populist campaign. If I am not afraid to carry my message forward, it is because you have given me strength! Make them tremble in their silence. Speak out!

Yours truly,

TC

Great new billboard, TC. I saw it in my rearview mirror on the way to the airport yesterday! And, you are correct in your message. All people need to be treated fairly and, most importantly, equally, regardless of who they are. From what I have seen that has most definitely not been happening under Esparza. He plays games with special prosecutor appointments to get the results he wants, targeting his political enemies or helping his employee's relatives. That has to stop. It is definitely time for a change. From what I hear the people are ready for a fantastic change. You are it!

Yes, I've been meaning to blog on some of these cases (the special prosecutor cases/games), i.e. Coach Gillespie, Betti Flores... but my opponent keeps giving me fresh roadkill to blog on so the historical stuff gets moved back.

However, it appears that many people have been keeping files on Esparza for many years, newspaper cuttings, cases histories, police reports, case information sheets from the DA's office, financials, etc., and they have made their way to my archives either by anonymous letter, or non-anonymous packages or passed on through mutual friends (one is waiting for pick up right now). It's been interesting and will make for interesting reading for the bloggers.

I wonder if Esparza has an inkling as to what people say and think about him. Does he know and just not care or are we seeing the classic case of the Emperor has no clothes?
